Product Description

TS326 is a dual-axis inclination switch produced by SkyMEMS. With a measurement range is +/- 90°, TS326 is a dual axis threshold detector with two dry contacts offers multiple configurations to detect tilt. The dry contacts can work with AC or DC voltage and provides a high isolation (>1000Mohm) between the power supply and the contacts. Higher resolutions are available on demand.

The IP67 aluminum alloy enclosure guarantees a reliable working unit in tough outdoor environments.

The unit has protection against reverse polarity and short circuit. The trip angles and trip delay can be adjusted at the factory or adjusted in the field with a calibration board.

What is Strapdown Systems?

In strapdown systems the inertial sensors are mounted rigidly onto the device, and therefore output quantities measured in the body frame rather than the global frame. To keep track of orientation the

signals from the rate gyroscopes are ‘integrated’, as described in Section 6. To track position the three accelerometer signals are resolved into global coordinates using the known orientation, as determined by the integration of the gyro signals. The global acceleration signals are then integrated as in the stable platform algorithm.

Stable platform and strapdown systems are both based on the same underlying principles. Strapdown systems have reduced mechanical complexity and tend to be physically smaller than stable platform systems. These benefits are achieved at the cost of increased computational complexity. As the cost of computation has decreased strapdown systems have become the dominant type of INS.
