Product Description

MG1XX serial MEMS Gyro is developed and produced by SkyMEMS, it is used to measure angular rate. It adopts high-performance MEMS chips, and BIMOS signal limitation circuit. The product is low power, fully calibrated, robust and extremely stable, and it has zero bias calibration, temperature drift compensation, non-linear calibration, and it also has self-test function, and can realize BIT (Built-In-Test) function.

With latest MEMS sensor production technique characterized by high accuracy, small size, and great shockproof property, this product is an ideal option for auto measurement, geological exploration, robot, missile guide and control, aircraft stability control, inertial navigation, antenna stability, etc.

MEMS gyroscopes

Inexpensive vibrating structure gyroscopes manufactured with MEMS technology have become widely available. These are packaged similarly to other integrated circuits and may provide either analog or digital outputs. In many cases, a single part includes gyroscopic sensors for multiple axes. Some parts incorporate multiple gyroscopes and accelerometers (or multiple-axis gyroscopes and accelerometers), to achieve output that has six full degrees of freedom. These units are called inertial measurement units, or IMUs.

Internally, MEMS gyroscopes use lithographically constructed versions of one or more of the mechanisms outlined above (tuning forks, vibrating wheels, or resonant solids of various designs, i.e., similar to TFG, CRG, or HRG mentioned above).

MEMS gyroscopes are used in automotive roll-over prevention and airbag systems, image stabilization, and have many other potential applications.
