INC829 is high-accuracy and wide measurement range inclinometers designed by SKYMEMS. Compared to electrolytic or capacitive tilt sensors, this series products works far better in non-linearity, repeatability, delay, temperature displacement, operating temperature, impact-resistance, and vibration-resistance, etc.
As an ultra-high-accuracy inclinometer, INC829 integrates a 24-bit high-end ARM system with resolution of 0.001°, accuracy of 0.008°, temperature of 0.0007°/℃, and response frequency as high as 100HZ (the baud rate is 115200). INC829 is the most competitive product in the industry.

What is a CAN protocol?

The CAN bus protocol is defined by the ISO 11898-1 standard and can be summarized like this: The physical layer uses differential transmission on a twisted pair wire. A non-destructive bit-wise arbitration is used to control access to the bus.

CAN is a multi-master serial bus standard for connecting Electronic Control Units [ECUs] also known as nodes. Two or more nodes are required on the CAN network to communicate. The complexity of the node can range from a simple I/O device up to an embedded computer with a CAN interface and sophisticated software. The node may also be a gateway allowing a standard computer to communicate over a USB or Ethernet port to the devices on a CAN network.

All nodes are connected to each other through a two wire bus. The wires are 120 Ω nominal twisted pair.

ISO 11898-2, also called high speed CAN, uses a linear bus terminated at each end with 120 Ω resistors.

What is Modbus Protocol?

Modbus is a serial communications protocol originally published by Modicon (now Schneider Electric) in 1979 for use with its programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Simple and robust, it has since become a de facto standard communication protocol and is now a commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. The main reasons for the use of Modbus in the industrial environment are:

- developed with industrial applications in mind,

- openly published and royalty-free,

- easy to deploy and maintain,

- moves raw bits or words without placing many restrictions on vendors.

Modbus enables communication among many devices connected to the same network, for example, a system that measures temperature and humidity and communicates the results to a computer. Modbus is often used to connect a supervisory computer with a remote terminal unit (RTU) in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Many of the data types are named from its use in driving relays: a single-bit physical output is called a coil, and a single-bit physical input is called a discrete input or a contact.
